About Henrik Gruett
Henrik is a composer and music producer based in the Midwest. Influenced from all directions such as minimalism, the romantic period, and electronic music, he finds his voice within a mixture of sounds that often don’t fit nicely into one genre. Writing for various mediums including film music, orchestral works, folk/pop songs, and modular synthesis, Henrik’s output varies greatly in form.

Henrik began his musical journey at age three when he began studying Violin. Later also picking up the French Horn and Mandolin, he gained much experience playing in many orchestras and symphonic band ensembles, performing internationally in jazz big bands alongside Allen Vizzutti and Wayne Bergeron, and exploring experimental timbres within his own home. Henrik is currently studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Composition at Wheaton College.
